Research Associate 04
  • 1st class in M.Sc., M.Tech or M.Sc. (Tech) in any allied field of Geoscience.
  • Ph.D thesis submitted or degree awarded in Geosciences.
  • Minimum three good publication records in SCI journals with at least one as lead author.

Salary & Work Areas

  • Salary/Stipend: Consolidated salary of Rs. 61,000/- per month + HRA (as applicable per rules).
  • Work Areas: Paleoclimatology, Tree-ring analysis, Dendroclimatology; Mineralogy, Fluid Inclusion, Mantle Petrology, Subduction & Collisional Geodynamics; Seismotectonics, Interior of the Earth; Low-temperature Thermochronology, Thermo-kinematic Modelling, U-Pb Geochronology of zircon; Vertebrate paleontology and Biostratigraphy.
  • The positions are purely temporary and contractual.
