  • CRE-II Posts (Forest Guard, etc.): 10th Pass / +2 Pass (Science/Any stream).
  • Language: Candidates must be able to read, write, and speak Odia.

OSSSC CRE Selection Process & Salary Details 2026

  • Selection Process: Written Test (Common for all), Practical Skill Test (for CRE-I posts), and Physical Test (for CRE-II posts).
  • Written Exam: 100 Marks MCQ (Maths, GS, English, Odia, Computer, Reasoning) with 0.25 Negative Marking.
  • Physical Test (PET/PSM): Qualifying nature for Forester, Forest Guard, and Excise Constable.
  • Salary (RI & ICDS): Pay Level-9 (Rs. 35,400 – Rs. 1,12,400).
  • Salary (Forester): Pay Level-7 (Rs. 25,500 – Rs. 81,100).
  • Salary (Group C Posts): Pay Level-4 (Rs. 19,900 – Rs. 63,200) for Forest Guard, Excise Constable, JA, ARI.
  • Salary (Amin & SFS): Pay Level-3 (Rs. 18,000 – Rs. 56,900).
